yeah. u can either use that kind with the bearing on the bottom, which i use to flush trim the edges of a box, or with the bearing above the cutting blade for double baffle cutouts or clamping the straight edge on top.ok so basicly you're clamping a straight edge to the wood. then the bearing runs along that edge?

im going to build some stils and point the box forward and have the amps sit under the box and build some fans to keep the amps cool.
