4 Sundown E8 & Old school Orion amps Build

There is no room really behind the rear seats of the DCAB taco's. How did you get leather man?!?!?! I have an access cab white, and would have loved leather. I think your best bet might be to get rid of one of the seats and build your box there. I think the seats split in the back of them. That way, if the situation arises you can pull out the box and put hte seat bottom and back on.

I look foward to this build man, I wanted some of these 8's when they were going for 50 a piece. Now I have a type R and really don't need them any more.

the subs are going behind the rear seats... and i had an upholstery shop put my leather in... that isnt my taco in the pics tho.. i had a custom black/gray leather set-up installed, with heated seats in the front, and also a sunroof!

You know I'm not sure to be honest. There's a comp. here on the 7th of August and I was debating on which system I was gonna enter it with. Might even build it and decide to throw the sundown 1500D on them, might be pushing my luck on the rms wattage of the subs though.

Make sure your signal is clean and your box isn't too big and the e8s should handle the 1500d ok but if you think you are pushing them I would back off the gains. I am out of recone kits for a few months now so I wont be able to fix any that are blown until more parts come in. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

already done with the 15s?
No they definitely still sound really good, imo, just always wanting to try something new. The 15's I have can handle more still than what I'm giving them, they're still stiff and don't even really move even when I crank them.

well, the new sundown 8s will be comming out soon that can handle 400 rms... that 1500d would be sweet on 4 of them.
Yah I read something about that, maybe I'll pick some of those up too when they come out. I might get something a little bigger if I powered 4 of those, I kinda like to push things a little bit but not too much //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Yah I was setting my amp today with a DMM and I'm still doing the math on the box. And in light of you not being able to recone them anytime soon, I'll definitely take it easy on them haha //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif.
