Have you heard them in person?

WTF,Memphis PR over a D3?

are you kids on meth?

Memphis PR is a pretty low end sub and is very limited in the SQ dept

Mclass is a little better and more comprable to a D3,but still not made as well

also a Memphis is a 250w sub and the D3 will run daily at over double that

Quick question...

The Pioneer TS-W306DVC is rated at 400 RMS. I do not know what amp I should go with. Amp "A" is rated at 350 RMS and amp "B" is rated at 500 RMS. Which amp should I go with? I want it to be safe so I do not blow my sub.

I totally agree with this guy. The D3 is an excellent choice in my opinion. Not to mention very cost effective and would be great as far as space goes.

Either amp would be fine, just don't clip it and your good.

i had two Memphis pr12's runnin off 800w rms (400 each) for over two years and had no problems, very good subs for the money, and you can usually get them at a dealer for that price, well atleast thats how much they are here, and youll get Memphis' very good warrenty, 3 yrs I THINK

Will there be a HUGE difference between the Pioneer TS-W306DVC and Diamond Audio D312D4 in terms of SQ and SPL? Is the D3 worth the extra 60 bucks? Both will be powered at 350 watts RMS and both be in a custom box. This will be my first system. Should I shell out the extra 60?

Wow, many say go with the Memphis!!!

I found this thread thru the search. I went to a shop nearby today b/c I want the BOOM back in my ride //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif and it has been awhile since I have had a sub, the guys there told me the Memphis is a good sub but I had never heard of it.

At 1 time I was running a 12" Bazooka with an Alpine 100W bridged to 4ohm in the trunk of an Infiniti J30t, that setup sounded good, dropped the rearview mirror.

The only thing from that system that I still have is the amp, so now I want to run a sub in my Grand Cherokee.

Would this be a good sub(Memphis 15-PR124D) to run with that Alpine amp bridged to it solo @4ohms??? I was thinking about an Alpine or Punch 12" sub, what do guys think

(I am about to drop $400 on the sub/box/install)

Thx for your thoughts......
