I need to chose 1 sub out of these 4. I will be running a single 12" in my 03 Malibu and need to know which one will have great SQ and also good SPL. Also, I need a prefab box that will work well with whatever sub. So when you reccomend one of the subs, please list a prefab box too. I apprecitate it guys //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif .

Choices:

1) Pioneer TS-W306DVC - http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_5291.html

2) MA Audio MA120XE - http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_2758.html

3) Memphis 15-PR124D - http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_3005.html

4) Diamond Audio D312D4 - http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_5527.html

Remember: List a prefab box too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif !

Will the Memphis get loud at 250 RMS? I am not looking to be heard blocks away, but I do want to "feel" the bass when I am in the car. I have been doing some research so I know it will have good SQ.

remember that most people have not heard even a pair of the choices you list, let alone all four choices.

Go with whatever suits your available power the best.

if thats a toss up, go with whatever has the best warranty.

Right now I am leaning more to the Memphis and Diamond. I do not think the Pioneer and the MA will have the SQ I am looking for, but how will I know? This will be my first system and the only other subs I heard in person are 2 Dual subs purchased from Best Buy in a prefab bandpass box.

I am going to have a custom box made so I know whatever I go with will be in the right box.

I am thinking of using a Profile AP700M (http://www.millionbuy.com/prfap700m.html) to power the sub that I choose. I just need more input for experienced car audio people.

The D3 has excellent SQ for what it costs. We sell the shit outta them at the shop, it's our most popular sub that we use in our stricter budget systems that are all about sound and not volume. Although they do get quite loud with the right power.
