the difference in going from 500 watts to 1000 watts per driver wasnt that great in my testing, the driver has such a complaint suspension ( softer spider and surround ) that it really is super efficient. thinking about it i don't think i can properly fit 4 in the trunk of my tl considering amps/batteries. ima try 3 off 1500. any amp recommendations?

I love my Mag V4, sounds great and takes up so little volume in my SUV and sounds great and still gets loud enough to shake things in my cupholders.

As for Jerk, that is just 02parkave under an alter ego, and it's fairly well known that he has a beef with SI for some reason, so whatever, he is the only person I have seen give a bad review of the Mag.

3 Mag's with 1500 watts will sound great and be plenty loud enough. You'll also be perfectly fine on the power handling, so you'll have nothing to worry about.

Maybe I should have rephrased that, maybe not above 100hz, but out to 100hz with a flat response. You'd be amazed how a properly designed (IMO anyway) driver, with low inductance and good BL/CMS curves can easily play to 100hz and some beyond that. I think Nick said the Mag v4 has good response up to 1000hz.
I've done my testing, and even with my SLS 6.5s, than can play cleanly down to 50hz without stress, with my R12 playing 100hz on down, I noticed ZERO difference moving the SLS from 50hz to 100hz HP.

Why have a midbass play below 100hz when the sub is going to, when properly designed, have more output.

But, I regress, this is how I enjoy my stereo, of course not for everyone but, I love it.

Nope it's in the trunk, but because it CAN play to 100hz, it blends easily with my fronts, and appears to be coming from the front, exactly like it should.
