i'm about to build a box for my friends toyota yaris....i have about 3 cubes to work with, and he only wants to spend 650 for the whole substage....after the price of amp, radio, wire, and box...he has a little over 200$ to work with....so i told him that he would probably like 4 of the re 8's, in about 2.4cubes..which would give him a little bit more room in the trunk...but do yall think the 8's would be louder than.....

1 12" SX

2 10" SE's

....but i do kinda like the idea of 4 8's...lol...btw the amp will be a hifonics brutus 1600 (a little too much for the 8's i know)

re 8's that I have are dual 4.

what are you going to wire 4 of them to ?

or can you get them in dual 2 ?

and hate it or not - I have one playing free air in my rear deck on a amp that is playing full range frequency

and ill be damed if it dont also hit the mid bass notes tremendusly - as well as the sub bass notes.

food for thought. - im a big fan of having a full equal range of sound. not over powering bass with weak *** highs.

I like everything to be equaly powerful in my rides.

well the 8's call for less volume...and are only 200$, which is cheaper than the other options i listed, and also have the most cone area...and whatever i wire it at, whether it be 1 or 2 ohms, there should be plenty of power to power them, at only 175wrms a piece.....i was just curious as to how they would perform in a trunk...and being 8's and all..lol
