4 Re Se 12's 01 Silverado ECSBhttp://www.caraudio.com/forum/newthread.php?do=newthrea

ok made up my mind about the ports. im going to cover up the old port holes with some mdf and sand it flush so it looks like nothing was there. i am going to put two 8 inch aeros at 22" each

they will both come up the middle of the box firing towards the windshield. going to use 90 degree elbows to use the length of the box for the ports. with two 8 inch ports it will have 128" of port area and the calculator calls for 130" of port area. close enough right?

wow I am so lost right now, 8 inch aeros are out of the question. 90 degree elbows are 82$ a piece. im going to have to somehow do a slot port in the center of the enclosure. i could really use some help from a box designer.

well....if i had the internal and external dimensions of the box you have there and what frequency you are going for I may be able to help you //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

yeah these are just 4" pvc from the plumbing section at home depot //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/redface.gif.62fdbfe1a101588a808c4cff71bcb942.gif

Why not just port to the side? 2 6" AEROPORTS(not pvc by itself) or 2 8" pvc would be perfect ported to the passenger side. The way to go with round ports...but the slot idea will work too.

But god, 4 12's with 3 4" pvc pipes, it should be 4 12's with 3 6" aeros!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

fixed my port issue //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif 140 ^2 inches of port area, all edges rounded
