4 ohm to 2 ohm

Is there any way to make a 2ohm load on a 2 channle amp with a One SV 4ohm Sub? The amp is a Pioneer 300 @ 4ohm Rms. I some what doubt that it is pushing anything near that. The Sub is a jbl 1000 watt gt120 250 watts rms. The amp is bridgable. I dont think i have a good grasp on the ohm load area so this question maybe really stupid. Sorry

On the side, A buddy of mine has a Boss 500 watt X 2 and it pushed my sub just fine, I could feel the bass, but the pioneer amp worked like shit compared to the boss so maybe theres something wrong with the Pioneer. I thought they were alright amps.

Did you bridge the amp? There is no way to get a 2 ohm load from a SVC 4 ohm sub, you can only create a 4 ohm load. But usually amps that are bridged can only handle a 4 ohm load anyway. Do you have the amp bridged?

Yep its bridged. I was thinking thats what it would come too. I just dont get it, Why my sub doesnt bump like it should. It does with other amps. Well I guess time to get a new Amp.. Anyone want a Pioneer amp let me know.
