Now it obviously could be due to me splitting the signal and not getting the full poewr out of the amps. But on tones I still max out on volume like 25 to 26. I had my amps strapped at 4 ohms to the 8 se 12's. Well today I switched and seperated the amps and ran 2 amps at 2 ohms. Honestly it could just be the weather but I swear it doesn't sound as loud. I know the ear is terrible at judging this . Is it possible that some amps actually put out more strapped than non.... And if so what is the tech. behind it. Thanks for any info. Now also both amps are running strait off the head unit. But on tones quits gaining at about 25 and I am sure the rca's voltage increase on the head unit till 30ish so should be getting enough signal.
