4 ohm load

As most of you all know, I have two SSd's that are dual 2 ohm VC. I am using both for a home audio application, and most of you know most home audio amps work best at a 4 ohm load.

I was going to go with this amp (http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/pshowdetl.cfm?&DID=7&Partnumber=300-810&ctab=4#Tabs) until I realized I can only wire the subs to a .5 or 2 ohm load together, and that amp requires a 4 ohm lad for 1000 watts.

So, is there any way I can use that amp? I do not see a way how I can individually wire each sub to a 4 ohm load to use on that amp.

So, are there any home audio mono amps that are stable down to 2 ohms and or smaller amps that I can use for each sub (thus making be buy 2 amps, but, oh well. I sorta wanted to keep myself in that budget range.)

Thanks

I'd rather use a rackmount amp like a QSC Powerlight or similar, you could run them in stereo as well with one amp //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Right on.

Anywhere I can buy/search for Powerlight amps online or any similar subs?

I was going to just have each subwoofer in their own identical enclosure teamed up with the BASH style 500 watt sub plate amp. But if I can get a good deal on one of those rackmount amps I'll just slam both 12s in one large azz ported enclosure.

I have a feeling those QSC amps are going to be more than 400 bucks (since each 500 watt plate amp is $200.)

hmm so are u contemplating 2 boxes? or still 1 big one?
Haha as you can see I'm still debating. It would be easier to move around two separate enclosures, but considering both subs will always compliment each other almost all of the time, one large one also seems plausible...

So I'll just have two identical subwoofer systems lol.
Which, IMO, has distinct benefits over two subs in a single box //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Easier to place in a room without localizing the subs...better staging...able to run the Xover up a little higher than you might otherwise...

Yup //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

And this is what I decided upon as well.

Thanks everyone for their input.
