NO, I HAVE 8 GUAGE ACTUALLY. AND I HAVE IT TOGGLED OFF THROUGH A CIRCUIT BREAKER SO WHEN YOUR IN THE LANES AND YOUR AMP GOES INTO PROTECT YOU CAN RESET EVERYTHING WITHOUT TURNING YOUR DECK OFF AND LOSING YOUR RUN. AND I GET THE SAME VOLTAGE TO MY AMPS POWER AS I DO MY REMOTE

still overkill considering the amount of current going through a remote wire.

Toggle is a good idea, but not having your amps go into protect would be better...
