I have 6 of these but I already know I cant afford amps to do them justice. So how about 4.

I do not wish to spend more than 450-500 dollars, BUT i want an amp that will not break down on me anytime soon and that has enough power. Every 4 channel amp I find no matter the price (on ebay at least) is like 250rms x4 at 4 ohms. well the subs are 350 rms. Is there any amp or combo of amps that i could get closer to 350 rms out of x4 at 4 ohm? I want to rattle windows.

Hey i just got 4 of those today from crutchfield. Im going to be using a hifonics 1606d. Not the greatest amp, but if you take it easy on the gains, it should be fine. With the budget set aside, you can do a lot better though.

Edit- just noticed theyre dvc. Take his advice^ Also with that budget, youll probably be able to get an amp to send at least 300 to each if you do 6. Look around, especially in the classifieds.

and can someone link me to an amp that does about 1500wrms at 2 or .5 ohms?(or just the name if you know off hand)

Thats cheaper, but is a little overrated, so you wont be getting the full 1300 watts.

that power acoustik shouldnt break down on me right? also, how many watts would each sub get if i hooked 6 off that power acoustik? (im not too good at these calculations yet.)

Nor am I. Im not sure what the final load options would be for 6 DVC 4 ohm drivers. Im guessing its going to be an odd one, like 1.33 or 2.67. Maybe someone else knows. Ive heard that that Power Acoustik model is a great budget amp.. Im guesing it should be fine for what you need.

Its rated to do 1800 watts @ 2ohms(the final load you would get with your subs). It will probably do a little less than that, but im not sure by how much. I would guess maybe 1600 watts. I think it would be fine if you set the gains using a DMM(digital multimeter). I will be using a hifonics 1606d which puts out 1600 watts @ 1 ohm for my four Perfects and its a little overrated also. I think it will be fine though.

Oh yea. Sorry about that. Yea, if it puts out around 600, each sub would get aroun 400 each. The Perfects are rated at 350, so you dont want to go to much over that. Ive heard they dont like overpowering at all.
