4 gauge wiring kit is standard for 1k amp right?

Im going to a audio show this weekend that has big sales. I need to buy new wiring for my new amp Im getting. Im going to get the hifonics bx1500. It will take 4 gauge right? Is 4 gauge good enough for 1500 rms or do I need a bigger kit. If so what size? I was told by locals that a cheap kit is pretty much the same as like expensive rockford kits.

How big could I go with a hifonics amp? When you have bigger gauge wire it also prevents power drainage and blown fuses right?
