4 gauge pulling 160A ?

^ correct. it will take a 320 amps for 3secs or a dead short to blow the fuses. 160amps over a 15' run would be the max i would do.
i personally would run 0 to a dist block if you plan on keeping the car cause its better to run wire 1 time....

Why is it better to do so? Not challenging you just curious, because I plan to have a 4 gauge wire run to the back and a 1/0 gauge run to the back.

Simplicity and possibly price, that's it. Performance wise, there is nothing wrong with multiple runs of power/ground wiring.

Well the 4 gauge i've got isn't true 4 gauge i think, it can just about fit in 8 gauge connectors. So instead of buying 0 gauge wire, a distro block and good 4 gauge wire i will just run the 0 gauge straight to the JBL amp then use my 4 gauge for my speaker amp.
