LOL
Right now I am running 4 gauge power line from the bat to a distro in the trunk which splits into two eight gauge lines feeding a 40X4 kenwood and a really old legacy amp that is supposedly 400 rms but is not even close cause all it's running is one jl10wo which is only 125 rms but anyway my question is can I keep the four gauge/eight gauge set up if I swap out the 4 channel for a 6 channel jl or do i have to go heavier on the wire? The fuses on the amps are like 20 and 25 and then i also got a crossover that draws like 2 amps so i'm guessing i'm drawing no more than 50 amps.

yeah bro that would be good for you. With not much power your running there that should run fine. no need to stress on about your battery or anything to be blowing up.

A small run of 8 guage could support ALOT more current than 150a. Depends on how small is small //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
I'm speaking about a foot or two. What are YOU talking about? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
