4 gauge fine with H.O. alt?

Will 4 gauge sufffice going from .the alt to starter with a 160amp h.o. alt? The piece would be about a foot or less in lenght. Then 1/0 gauge from my starter to the battery.

Its Kicker hyperflex 4 gauge BTW

eh, just go with 0 gauge, overkill is better always IMO just in case. and if u just wanna use four gauge, and have enough, double or triple it up.

true, if your already going to be running 0/1 in your car, just run it all the way. its better to have too thick of a wire than to have too thin. insurance if you will.
