2nd Batt With Distro Block?

Ok, this is the question. I was wodnering if i could just add the second batt via distro. Or so i have to make the run alllllll the way to the starter batt. The reason is , is becasue i dont have enought 1/0 and im broke.
Do you have a run of 1/0 GA going from the battery in front to the distro? If so, you should fine running a 1/0 Ga or 4Ga to the second battery. Keep the second battery within a few feat of the distro and fuse it. I would ground the battery to the same place that your amps are grounded to, provided it is a good ground.

Yea , the i have a run of 1/0 kollosus, and the distro is the konfused block that has 3 fuses in it. Ok. sounds good. But do i have to ground the batt to the same place as the amp? THe reason why, is because i only have about 4-5 feet of 1/0. and thats why i wa asking about the distro in the first place, cause i didnt have enough wire to go to the front

Remove 1/0 from block, connect to second batt + post. Ground Second Batt to chassis, install + from second batt to Block, Ground amp to second batt - post or chassis.

You should really use two Inline ANL fuses to safely install the second battery one 18" from each battery, running the second battery through the Mini-ANL fuse might not be sufficent (only avalable up to 150A) and you'll end up blowing fuses depending on what you are powering
