4 channels 6 coaxials

i need help im trying to design the perfect system from my car when i get home from deployment

tell me if this could work :

Power Series 4-Channel Class A/D Car Amplifier

RMS Power Rating:

4 ohms: 250 watts x 4 chan.

2 ohms: 250 watts x 4 chan.

1 ohm: 250 watts x 4 chan.

Bridged, 4 ohms: 500 watts x 2 chan.

Bridged, 2 ohms: 500 watts x 2 chan.

Dynamic Power Rating:

4 ohms: 290 watts x 4 chan.

2 ohms: 290 watts x 4 chan.

1 ohm: 290 watts x 4 chan.

along with 6 to 8 of these

read around on some threads here, there are some good ones in the Speakers section. do searches for "front stage".

the short answer is yes, that amp can power 6 or 8 pairs of those speakers.

it helps to know what vehicle we're talking about.

 
ALOT...haha, basically those coaxials your looking at are not a natural shape and will not have a natural response, 6 1/2 round speakers sound better...the component portion means your get independent tweeters and a set of real xovers not that little capacitor they put between the high and low drivers on a coaxial. Also the tweeters being independent of the bass driver means you can mount/angle them differently....while it is best to place your tweeters as close to the mid bass as possible, like a coaxial does, high frequencies are directional and your ears a better able to tell that the sound is direct slightly away from you or toward your feet or what have you...
