4 Channel Amps

New or used really doesn't matter on this... Its a work car so i'm not pouring money into it.

I have a single JL 12w3v4 on a Hifonics Brutus 600D running at 4ohms 150watts,

getting a decent front stage setup, the most expesive thing i have in the car is the HU Jensen HD 7" single din. was $130

amp was 59$ , sub was a set of 2 but i gave one to my brother but i got them free from my nephew. I'm trying not to put more than

500$ in for a work car. But buying this amp is another month out, an if some of the ones listed here in the amp section is still for sale i

will end up getting one of them.. Right now i'm getting a mono amp repaired and working on getting some subs. But thanks for all the replys

When i do the show car/truck/van "when i decide what the hell i want to do""SQ/SQL" or SPL" I won't be worrying about 150-200 for a 4 channel , I will open up the savings account for that project.

There's a lot of USED amps out there that fit the bill. New? Not so much. Aside from the Boston amp you recommended (which is a very under rated amp), the rest of the amps mentioned are not "SQ" nor are they very clean. Sure, the sticker on the box says they make X amount of watts, but who cares about that when the amp has hiss, turn on pop, and noise present in the channels (aka: dirty sound)?
I suggest the OP cruising eBay for good used gear like this, this, or this

In all honesty though, I havent had any personal experience with Crescendo Amps I have heard one in a guys car but the guy was an a**hole and swore everything he had was 1000x better than mine //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/bsflag.gif.21f42eccd34b7d1eb1608fb1b59b69c3.gif it sounded decent for the price but I'd choose my Boston over it anyday! never heard a pop though because we just let it play

View attachment 26527029i got this one for 150 shipped its rated at 65 per channel but the birth said over 400 all channels driven at 4 ohms.i ran it for a while and never had any issues with it,it can also be ran active .

Was gonna say Rubicon, O have the 2500d and 4.500. Neither is hooked up yet but both seem like solid amps and have good reviews

Just to update. My brother got the MB Quart Q 150.4 last week. He has it on two Square Hifonics Triton 8's and 2 kicker 6 1/2's. Before he had 2 Soundstream rubcons 1998 models, the rubi 300(150x2@2ohms) on the 6 1/2's and the rubi 500(500x1 mono) on the 8''s. I hooked this up myself, and it was loud and clean. Now since the switch to the Q he says it even better than before, but with more headroom and louder.
