4 Channel Amps

What is a good 4 Channel Amp 400-700 watts... for mids/highs or is going with two 2 channel amps better one for the front and

one for the rear speakers?

trying to keep this under 200$ would like to actually spend less than $150 i could.
A good 4ch amp making the power you want for under $200 does not exist. The amps quoted here are indeed amps, they claim that power, however they all have known histories of having problems such as noise & turn on/off pop as well as reliability problems.

...they don't sound so good either.

There's a reason they're cheap; they're made cheaply and engineered down to a price point. If you're looking for a disposable amp, I guess those would be ok. If you're looking for a 'good' amp that'll be trouble free and sound great, get ready to open that pocketbook.

quoting a budget of 150-200 for an amp shows he obviously wants good bang for his buck as far as SQ and power. The amps mentioned do just that.

Clarity is clarity, power is power....no matter how much you spend.

There's a lot of USED amps out there that fit the bill. New? Not so much. Aside from the Boston amp you recommended (which is a very under rated amp), the rest of the amps mentioned are not "SQ" nor are they very clean. Sure, the sticker on the box says they make X amount of watts, but who cares about that when the amp has hiss, turn on pop, and noise present in the channels (aka: dirty sound)?

I suggest the OP cruising eBay for good used gear like this, this, or this

If it were my money, I'd probably buy this if I could get it around $100.

I have had my mb quart discuss 2150 amp in 3 cars powering subs and now componets and it has always worked flawlesly. It is like 5 years old, i really think for the money and for a work truck the op would do good with a mb quart amp. Like the other guy said check them out at sonic.
