4 chan amplifier

I can get this amp locally for 100 bucks, it was used for 6 months. Is it worth $100 and would it be worth to amp my 4 pioneer 3 ways 40 rms each? I'm just looking for a little bit better midbass and highs.

Hard to find sometimes but the Infinity 7541a has really nice specs and is around the same price. I saw one on ebay go for for $65 shipped once, but then again i would only get it if the user mainly has sold audio stuff in the past.

Edit: now that i looked at your speakers either amp is overkill. The speakers only do 40 RMS and the Kenwood does 88 RMS to each speaker. They are both double what you need

The Excelon line is decent. Its not bad for a bill. Also, adjusting the gain properly it will not blow your speakers. Plus it has head room if you want to upgrade in the future.

If you can talk him down a bit its ok.

The Kenwood is better then that infinity.

x2 on ajusting the amp gain down if u so choose to to but it there are better amps for a bit more remeber try and pick a amp that will power other speakers down the line so ur getting ur moneys worth or while ur at it upgrade the speakers to something else!

Yeah I was planning on just turning the gain down untill i could get new speakers or what not. I think I'll wait til summer to get anything.
