i'm trying to figure out what i'm going to do as far as an amp

was wondering if it is possible to bridge 2 channels on a four channel for a sub and then use the remaining 2 channels to power components

or would I be better off just getting a 2 chan amp for the comps and a mono for the sub

no idea how much power i want for either, just trying to get an idea

it would depend on what your wanting run off of the amp or amps. a lower power sub stage would be fine with a 4ch. if your wanting to run better subs then i would go with the 2ch and mono or a 5ch.

75 rms on the comps and maybe 500 on the subprobably good to use a 2 chan and a mono then right?

Or you can go with a 5ch such as the Mobile Spec ICEX-5400

Class AB Section*

50 Watts x 4 @ 4 Ohms

75 Watts x 4 @ 2 Ohms

150 Watts x 2 @ 2 Ohms Bridged

Class D Subwoofer Section*

200 Watts x 1 @ 4 Ohms

300 Watts x 1 @ 2 Ohms

400 Watts x 1 @ 1 Ohm

*All wattage is RMS.
