4 Ch amp

I need a new 4 Ch amp as my last amp overheated and is now shot. I had a cadence TXA-6004 from ebay that should have never got out to the public, it was one of the ones with the too small of a heatsink.

I was thinking about just buying another one at the cadence outlet store here.

Do you think i will be able to find a better price on an amp about the same as that? I just need 2x100watts for fronts, and 400watts for a sub. Also i want to confirm that nobody knows of any issues with the cadence 6004 from the cadence store, before i go buy another one.

Contact Cadence and see if they wont replace it since it was a factory defect and should have never ended up in your hands.

I'm sure something could work out, Ebay purchase it the only thing that hurts you.

all the newer cadence amps seem to be junk

Yeah i just emailed cadence to see what would be in the warranty policy. Since it still is a product of theirs, its their fault they made it to the public.

The newer ones may be junk, but the TXA-6004 is an older model, would you still consider it junk. I was fairly happy with it while it lasted, just really pissed when it would shut off due to overheating, then one day, pop and dead.

Nah they won't help,there was a thread over on caf about those amps which were supposed to be destroyed but fell into the wrong hands or some shit like that but I'm sure you are SOL
