and i know imma toss and turn all night again... but i got all week off and im building. i would like to get my crx done this week as well with my 4 12s i need to build.I suffered from that, lol.
the magnets needed depth. and i wanted at least 2 inches between my seat and the pods.why did you cut the backs out of the pods?
Not enough depth?
i'll wait till the subs are built. i just put in two sets of boston pro 6^4^tweets in the front doors.Pics?
Gotcha. Planning on sealing seal them up or leave them open?the magnets needed depth. and i wanted at least 2 inches between my seat and the pods.
have you seen the layers of sound deadner i have behind the panels not to mention the two layers i have in the door?Gotcha. Planning on sealing seal them up or leave them open?
you could also do some dome midranges. And get a 3 way passive xover. use the midrange section. I know that audiopipe makes a 3 way passive xover. for pretty cheap. I've used a few and the dont sound bad.I was hoping you would show pics of how you wrapped the pods and fiberglassed them direction is weird in my opinion but it is different. I need midbass in my car, unfortunatly i only have 5.25 i know i need to upgraded to 6.5 but do i have to do pods and get an enclosure for them to sound good or do they have mids that do good in free air in the door. Just lookin at my options.
Build looks nice, no clutter or argument, looking forward to seeing this van next show!!! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
deadener doesnt really matter (infact it reflects back waves even more inside door panels) I would seal them up cuz it would be just like "free airing" them into your door panels if left open.have you seen the layers of sound deadner i have behind the panels not to mention the two layers i have in the door?
but ive thought about it. i will see how deep the magnets sit tomarro when they are dryed from the clear coat.
there's no "w" in holes:laugh:you need to seal up the wholes you cut..
the door pods sit flush all around the edges and i was thinking about sealing up the backs but i want to hear how the sound first.deadener doesnt really matter (infact it reflects back waves even more inside door panels) I would seal them up cuz it would be just like "free airing" them into your door panels if left open.
