Are you going to have a sundown 3000d for each BTL? I mean if not the 1 will still run the 2 18" BTL's but they would constantly be asking for more.. IMO run a 3000d to each //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifgonna have a sundown 3000d..this will be in a 2dr jeep..

actually a good point though:crap:R's would have more cone area....i dont know if it would be worth it to go with 2 BTL's with only a 3000d
It kinda depends on the box you design for it, but...
Why do you guys think that the BTL's need SOO much power?
If it's for SPL burps I could see putting a 3000 on each, but for daily it's not needed.
Speaking from personal experience.... I've used (3) different amps on a fully loaded 18" BTL in a 7cuft box tuned to 32hz with 100sq.in. of port over the last few years....

The HCCA275R and VX2200D were pretty much on the same level giving the sub around 1500rms. The VX2200D pushed the sub nicely as you can see in my Fi BTL excursion video on youtube...
