What's goung to be my best option for daily and be able to put up some numbers for comps..

2,000 watts

$350 for sub(s)

Was thinking:

1 AQHDC3 18

4 10" l5's

3 15" cvr's

2 15" AQ SDC2.5's

6 Kicker competition 12's (newer style)

Am I leaving something out

And yes, $350 max.

I really don't care about anything but high numbers, decent sound for daily

Thanks

How much space do you have available, and how much power do you plan on giving them?

The 6 12s have the cone area advantage, but that won't do you any good if you don't have enough space for them.

for spl or sql?

no one on the forum seems so give enough info.

if u like the lowes the get an 18. i have sdc2.5 15s because they would fit best in my golf. if u want spl get what has the most conarea. single big subs will be louder than smaller single subs.

what amp do u have? if u have just one amp and u are saying 3 15s then u r going to have to wire them funny and u will either get a little more or a little less power depending on the voice coils and how you wire it.

we need to know

what amp or amps do u have?

do u have enough electrical to support your amp?

what kind of car is this going in? fitting the sub in might be easy but getting a 30cuft box wont be.

please dont listen to a word this gentleman has to say.

I got an idea....

quit making multiple threads about the same god d@mn question and the same god D@mn subwoofers.

"There is no replacement for displacement"

if room is not an issue, the loudest you're going to get is with the most cone area/overall volume displacement within your power limits. Its that simple.

I said the same thing in your other thread.

But if the 1 15's have very little surface area advantage over the 4 10's, but the 10's have multiple advantages such as a higher resonant frequency (more efficient at spl frequency), and 4 motors instead of 2, it seems like the 10's have an advantage.

I am still waiting to get a straight answer from someone who seems to know what they're talking about instead giving me the cut and dry "No replacement for displacement" comment.

Not to be a dick but to me it's more than just cone area and power...
