Underrated, the HDC-3 is rated at 1000rms but it can take in excess of 3Kw as well. Most companies that make SPL drivers like that underrate their subs so inexperienced users won't blow them as easily.

With ease. Some people give them 4000-5000rms daily. I have 3000 on each of mine and they don't even get hot. Seem like they could take a lot more to.
