3500+ RMS at 14v.... 425 Shipped?!?!

You should know that db-r (or most anyone else in the car audio business) won't answer a question that involves privileged information, that would hurt either AP or RD's business...

As a layman, I'd like to know also, but it's speculation until someone posts details. You could just buy them, and see the components for yourself. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

...... (sry mang, i gotz no monies, l0l) .....

lol please ^..Your stuck on the fact that they look very simular but can't get it past your thick head that RD did make changes to improve it over the original design which was very close to AP.Stop posting false shit

Its the truth so what? Its cheaper than the audiopipe and easier to get in touch with customer service. Thats why Im buying 2 of these instead of the audiopipes.

Congrats on buying the RD's, but once again(as others have also attempted) let me reitterate.

The RD Amplifiers DOES NOT use the same components in the creation of the amplifier! Please quit misinforming people that it is the exact same amplifier. It is not. The RD will hold .5 daily, 18v inputs and more than likely, honestly, has better cooling. I'm sure there's other subtle changes and whatnot, not to mention better quality parts that help these few differences.

I do have to agree that it's nice to be able to talk to the owner of the company instead of a rep though, that's a huge plus!

New parts this and new parts that is all here say. Where's the proof? Ok then, who cares. The ap will do .5 daily and is fan cooled and vented. I guess that is why it costs a little more.

I asked you if you had one of the AudioPipes, that I would gladly, with my own money, purchase the 3250v2 and put the two to the test against each other, and I'd gladly bet my amplifier on it.

Since they're the exact same, it should yield the exact same numbers, right?

Let me know if it sounds like something you'd like to do. And dont make assumptions you have no clue about - you assume that RD didnt upgrade anything, it's just people saying this or that, marketing hype or whatever, yet you are again wrong.

As soon as there's a 3250v2 and the aqx3500 side by side, differences will prove themselves worthwhile.

Look forward to it bossman //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Actually I will buy a audiopipe 3500 and I will compare the parts to the rd. I will let dbr be the judge. But again, who gives a shit! Both are great amps from great companies. The only reason I am buying 2 of the rds instead is because I am saving a couple of bucks and I can speak to the owner directly via car audio forums. Although I still think the audiopipe looks better : ) http://www.audiopipe.org/gallery/albums/userpics/AQX-3500_1_class_D.JPG

Well I guess it time for me to chime in and end this little debate.

Audiopipe is ran/owned by a man named Gonzi. On the 09' new line many new improvements were being made. The older 2000d (gd6001) amps were made in Korea and where high in cost. The AP30001 amps were made in China at a lower cost to make best amp for the best price. They have been selling like crazy this past year. Now I know for a fact that I wanted to see AP sell a strappable amp that could do 7k per pair.

Now, I have no clue about the RD testing or design of their new amp! I have a question about it. Did they do their testing of the new amps at RD?

Well I know that Gonzi didn't test their new amps at the Audiopipe warehouse. He, in fact, flew half way around the world to China, himself, straight to the factory that makes these items.

I know they had several versions of the amp, before they found the one that would do what guys like me wanted from an amp used in comps. A pair of strapped amps that would not go into protect if the ohm load was a little low and would handle 16/18 volt setups and not blow up after 10 or 20 runs. Gonzi stayed in China for 3 weeks to oversee all progess and to have some awesome new products for their 09' line up. I know that me and Gonzi exchanged at least 40 plus emails while he was there at the factory.

Now for you guys that always want some kind of proof, either test the two amps at the same time or just buy from which company you want the name on the amp.

Both of these amps are really great for the prices!

It's your choice to go RD or AP !!

I know, if the doctors haven't found my cancer earlier this year, my van would be full of these new AQX-3500.1 amps.

He is a little proof of Gonzi in test mode at the China factory last winter.
