So my cousin wants 'some subs' yet she doesn't want to spend a lot of money. I told her I could probably set her up for $350.

We have a box for a 12" and a box for a 15" we could give her.

She says "I just want people to know I have subs."

So it doesn't have to be high quality crap. What would you reccomend? I don't exactly want to get her junk.

the 15" box is 3.3 cubes, the 12" box is a little over 1 cube. Both are sealed.

Does viper still make the 300.1?

Oh, and.. I don't have a box for a 10 :-/

Here are 2 options.

15" Kicker CompVR 2 Ohm DVC - $129

HiFonics BX1500D - $205

or

12" Kicker CompVR 4 Ohm DVC - $77

HiFonics BX605 - $125

Wire it down to 2 Ohms giving it 300w RMS

Premier 30004SPL + some cheap amp and a properly tuned box. Should stay well under your $350 budget and she'll be bangin.

Find a nice 12 Kicker L7 refurb....and a viper 1200.1 or smaller on ebay......350 done

At the moment i have 1 L7 12 and its hooked to a really crap amp a 4 channel 175 max and it pounds for what it is for sure....the funny thing is it louder than 2 of my other buddies systems and they only have 2 12s with about 350rms going to them.....

you can get on ebay a kicker 12L5 dual 2ohm and a hifonics bx1000d for around u.s350 or less including shipping and you wire it 1ohm.

She would never dream that loud.
