$350 budget

i used to have a 12" type r off 600 rms in a 2.25 cuft 32hz box. I sold it today and i want somethin better. I got roughly $350 for subs, amp, and wiring. I got the wood to make a box. Basically i want anything that will be noticable louder than my previous setup. Any sugg

thats a little over 350, so you can always go with the 12" sub instead.

maybe try an l7 for sub for about $125, and find a directed 1100d for around $120, then you have the rest of the money for whatever. i think i paid like $131 for my refurbed dei 1500d awhile ago.

Go Ebay, and get a 15" l5 and a pretty nice amp to push it, should be around 350

it's a little over $350, but worth the extra $$...that amp will probably put out close to 900rms so you'd be fine...im throwin 600rms to mine and they're hella loud!!

wiring: Knu eKO 4 gauge kit (30$)

probably the best out there for the price. Its about 30 shipped off ebay, and includes plenty of wire for power and ground, misc connectors, RCAs w/ remote turn on wire, and wire loom for protecting the wire that runs through the engine bay.

amp: Directed 1100D, or any other monoblock 100watt RMS amp. (about 150 shipped)

The directed amp goes for about 130 shipped on ebay somewhat reliably. Also watch the for sale forums here... somebody's always getting rid of an old amp for a good price.

sub(s):

at this point you've got 170 left... in your 350 dollar budget. you can add about 45 bucks and grab a pair of 12 inch Type R's... or add about 30 and get a pair of Pioneer 3004's. You can grab a used L7 15 for 170 shipped or less. Just look around, watch the for sales here and watch ebay, and do your research before buying and you can do good on this one...

I didn't even look at the RCAs. ...Those stinger amp kits are good... i actually have Stinger HPM 1/0 in my car...

BUT! for 30 shipped you can get wire thats just as good, for a cheaper price, with more accessories. check out their site and see for yourself...
