300M alternator help

Alright ao ive been looking for a HO alt for my car because the stock 130 amp isint goign to cut it with my new 3k watt system. I have emailed DB, Ohio,EA, Mean Greem, MCR. DB cant do anything for me, mean green wont reply back to me, ohio whants 545 shipped for a 180 amp 1 year warranty, EA wants 390 shipped 200 amp 1 year warranty, and MCR wants 299 Shipped 200 amp lifetime warranty. All of the alts listed are the highest amp alts that could be built by each company for my car.

Ive heard on ecoustice from a very knowledgae source that MCR is Quality as well as ohio but that EA was questionable. However on CA ive heard that MCR sux and EA is good. What are all of your opinions on these alts i have got quotes on and do you have any other suggestions as to what i should look into for charging? Thanks for the help

hmm i got a 280amp for my 2.7 chrysler. there was a 300amp option but it put out less at idle than the 280. i know theres been some horror stories about iraggi but he did good by me

**** i would love to get a 280 or 300 amp but the largest everyone has been telling me is 200 amp. what car do you drive?

thats werid how they make 280 amp for a 2.7 but not for a 3.5

Look into Iraggi.I'm sure he can do a 300amp.

stay away from motor city reman. brought 2 alternators and they both sucked. factory alts did better.

iraggi quored me $600 for a 300 amp alt. whats their warranty like?

Not sure about everyone else. My EA alt though came and I went to put it in, and it did not fit in my car. I called him expecting him to say "well it should but your screwed," or something along those lines. But he was really surprised and said if I shipped it back he'd have the other one shipped out by the time it got there.

This was 2 days ago. I can't speak for the quality of his alternators yet, and it sucks that it didn't fit. But I was surprised when he apologized and said he'd have another one on it's way.

Chrysler vehicles are more expensive for some reason.I got one for my jeep GC and thats about what mine cost for a 300 amp.But he was the only one I could find to do a 300.HO wanted a similiar amount and only offered 200 amps.

As for the warrent I got the amputator series that has a one year warrenty.But you can purchase a lifetime warrenty for an extra 100.And if you change vehicles he will swap the old one for a new one that will fit the new vehicle.

I have had good luck dealing with Dom and highly recommend him.
