30000k HID kit... seckz?

ALL (and i repeat ALL) factory hid's are 4300k for a reason. higher k does NOT equal brighter. actually the higher you go up, the less useable light output. but i hate you and hope you die.. so go ahead.
i dont know who the fvck you were tlaking to

but if you were talking to me sir

He is correct though

the K value is relevant to the color of the lights

If you want you lights to be brighter then you need more Lumens

I have 4300k factory in my headlights and 5000k in my fog lights. 5000k, to me, is the best of both worlds. You get the visibility and some good color. 6000k seems to help with far objects such as road signs and white lights far ahead. 4300k and 5000k and better for all around visibility.

Also check out suvlights they sell a relay kit to help fix the crappy wiring from the factory, atleast on crownvics and grand marquis's the power for the headlights comes through the harness and not through a relay direct from the battery. Many people have added the harness to use the current wires are relay triggers and run power right from the battery with noticeable results

maybe u should first get another car, then do things to that car, instead of keeping ur volvo wagon, where everytime a cop hears you bumping, prob says to themselves, "wtf is that person in that old *** wagon trying to be cool?" and then pulls you over and gives you a big ticket ahaha.

but seriously get a car that runs good i remember you said before that ur wagon runs bad.

How will Halo's with HID's blind people? Halo's don't blind at all when they come from factory. And if it's aftermarket it, it's not a light that beams anything.

Also, 6000K is plenty bright and still looks good with a slight blue to it. The reason why some people may not like them or think they lack output is because cheap bulbs or projectors are being used. When I had my Accord I bought projectors off ebay, shoot they were only 50 bucks. Did they work? Yes. Were they bright? Somewhat? As much as retrofits or HID's? Nope. If you want quality, you have to pay for it. Don't get cheap priced headlights, because that is exactly what you will get from the quality, cheap. Either dish out the cash and be happy or spend the money elsewhere and be content with what you have.

And for those who do install lights, please follow these instructions as I hate idiots who can't properly aim or adjust their headlights. http://danielsternlighting.com/tech/aim/aim.html

If you got cheap headlights and bulbs and you have to increase aiming above DOT specs, well, it's your cheap headlights that are the problem, you don't have to blind other people just because you were too cheap. This isn't directed to anyone in particiular, so don't get offended, just an //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

retrofit ftmfw.

it's not too hard but can be depening on the method you take and what head light housing your using.

as for snoop and king r, those head lights yall posted are probably shit with output if you install them. they most likely will not have any good quality projector installed in them. when i purchased some off brand halo projector headlights for my civic i read reviews on them that the projectors and the light bulbs that they came with were HORRIBLE, and that if i was to add an HID kit to help the output would only do so but only very little. the best thing to do with the head light was to retro fit it. i ended up spending a good $600 in total after i was done. right now i'm using 5000K white HID kit with retrofitted 2005 Acura TSX projectors with color mod in those cheap ebay headlights i got for my car.

if yall decide to get those head lights off ebay or such, better think about buying some real projectors to retro fit them into the housing of the new headlights. right now i'm considering on buying a second set of projectors for my High beams. i never use the highbeams but i want it in just for looks.

i could show yall pictures of the poor quality projectors compared to the ones of the TSX.
