This for the Volvo.. If so Id personally go with 6500k.. Keep it 'clean' looking . Going that high would just look cheesy IMO

I have 8000K in OEM non-HID projectors...

I wish I would've opted for the 4300K units.

there is a dude w/ a trailblazer around me thta i sware has brighter than 30k

idk wtf he has but its BADDDDDD.. lol

and yeah, goin in the volva

other mods to the volvo include 5%tint for all except the front 2 which will be 15 and a 6" 5% strip

tinted tails except for the white parts =]

halo headlgiths (black housing)

and 18-20 new black rims w/ chrome outline

maybe exhaust and coilovers

6500 is a little low imo

that high would look like crap and basically pointless you wont see nothing 6k is the best gives you around 2900lm and the 4300k gives you 3100lm but the 6k has more of a whitter look

12k only puts out 2000lm

read that and look at the temps and the light output, and also man if u have halo and hid u will blind people unless you have a cutoff

the higher up the k gets is just the difference on the color scale/temperature. if you have a 30k kit it will not be brighter then the 4300k kit, it will just have a color most likely purple. i believe purple kicks in around 12k, but im not sure where it tapers off.

edit:just checked out the link above and your lights wil be yellow with a tint of green if you go with the 30k kit, personally i would never step up past 8000k, i had those in my silverado and were abosluitely gorgeous

with 30k you arent gonna have any output...good luck sseeing at night. I have oem hid projectors retrofitted into my headlights and the bulbs are 4300k and its a pure white. I have 6000k hid fog lights and those have a noticable blue tint when compared to real hid. I would not go over 6000k. Anything above that is just too blue for me, and lacks output. 6000k is a good mix of bluish white light and you still get tons of output
