Kind of Ironic that the same year Monte Carlo SS have the same 3800 engine yet there's isnt' supercharged

For a while, GM planned on making Pontiac their performance division, and Chevrolet was going to be their economy line. The only performance Chevy they were going to keep was the Corvette. But the new Camaro changed all that. It wouldn't be too far off the mark to suggest the new Camaro killed Pontiac.
