3000 @ 1 ohm under $400

Okay but would you say that its better then a RDv1? for 100 more then both the MBQ and the AP would it still be the best option? I dont think so... I know RD has had issues with there v2 but I have not seen v1s with those problems...
he will be running at 1 ohm and have the proper electrical.

Yes maxxsonics can be found to be the cheaper option but hes already running a hifonics 1606d and when i hooked my orion 2500d, there was a noticeable difference. But its still not enough to make it worth the extra money for just 400 more watts to get the MB Q.

Tell me your 3k watts @ 1 ohm with maxxsonic products, and I want proven 3k... and the RD's and a few others have been proven..

The AP 3500 and the RD are better choices imo for his setup, and not saying they are the best but those are some that have come up in this thread that I feel would outperform your 3k @ 1 ohm ~400
gp3k is proven 3k and then some FYI

thank you //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

FYI it is discontinued the new model was moved to a brutus chassis since hifonics brutus amps are the most sold amp in the world

bxi3010d much improved and passed 18volt in car testing chris from dbr and a few others convinced them to change a few things to make them even better so expect a low cost high quality all original designed hifonics 5kw amp this next year //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

the gp3000 is a proven amp that will do 5kw

where have you seen this? 16v or 18v maybe... on a 12v-14v setup i'm pretty sure those do right around 3kw. none the less it's a very solid amp for the price. well worth the $400-$450 they ussually go for. maxxsonics has a few lines of amps that are really worth the money. the gpd pro, the xx and xxv hifonics, the mm autoteks, and those mb quarts are well built for the money. I'm glad to see they're moving the gdp boards to the new brutus line. I bet you'll see a world of difference from that older brutus to 3kw //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

save up and get an HO alty before you try to run 3kw. Even if it means you have only 1 big bat in the trunk instead of two or 3, get the alty. trust me.

That's funny that you talk about competitors because John Carr on here has great results from the ap30001d and I have too. I did a 140.9 at the headrest with the car off on a non-comp box in a trunk with 2 Fi 10" SSDs wired at 4 ohms with a 35 amp fuse, and on music.

IIRC, Chris took back what he said about AP when he actually saw the inside of the amp. The only thing he said bad was that the components were surface mounted or whatever and I am willing to be most if not all of your godly amps use the same style.

yes at 16 and 18 it really wakes up it does over 3kw in 12-14 as well tho even after rise it holds its own

the new revision that was moved to the brutus line is no exception it has been radically improved to be stronger and better in just about every possible way. expect 3500 rms at 1 ohm on a standard 12 - 14 volt setup

Oh and his electrical is for his current brutus 1606d... He already has big 3 and 0 gauge to the back..

He plans on getting 2 more batts min... Also in a 02 explorer with stock alt currently..

So this isnt about electrical... hes just shopping on amps...
lmao kevin i didnt see your name so i was like howw the **** does this guy know my electrical...hahah WOW!

DJ nick and nate have nothing but bad to say about them and i value their opinion they have all tried them and metered better on dif amps not always just maxxsonics either and everyone of them said they metered better with similar power and a dif brand.

and no they are not surface mounted in fact if they are so horrible why do other companies copy the designs and resell them to places like AQ ect??? look into zenon and who they supply and who sued them for doing just that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I wonder how much money people spend on cheap shit and keep replacing it over and over and over again! Just buy a strong piece of equipment and be done with it!!
Expensive shit does not always mean good shit. Expensive shit fails also. And I have never had any issues whatsoever with the Audiopipe amps. I also do not like to pay for customer service, so therefore I do not have any "strong" piece's of equipment:fyi:

With absolutely no tuning whatsoever, and a single DSC2000.1 @ 2 ohms, I burped a 146 @ 40hz legal.

I havent messed with the amp yet, and I think the gain is still under 1/2. Dont even know where the LPF is... Just kinda eyeballed the gain and LPF once before the subs even got playing an havent touched them since.

Like I said, I can bounce a full water bottle an inch off the top of my box, so that should be a huge gain when I fix that as well. I would say a solid .5-1db at least, then when I end up with 4x the power that should raise it as well. Then maybe a little if I round over the port and really fix up the seal and deaden the back doors at all.

Overall, I think a 150 @ 40hz legal should be easy. Id really like to see a 152ish, but we will see what I can get it to do.

seems like they meter pretty **** good //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

i have nothing against Maxxsonics, they make stuff but not everything is gold.
hes not running 18 volts, just the normal 12-14 volts....
i dont think it is gold either man but for the cost anyone has to admit it is a great product that has great build quality and amazing CS
