Prove it... Im not for or against what your saying, but everytime I come on here to learn, and see whats going for what I hear you preach about maxxsonic products and always say they are better, or cheaper, etc... but I never see you do any tests to prove these results...

I know i seen on SSA someone compare an AP amp to powerbass and a sundown with good results... Show me some results from your testing or everything you say is just your opinion...

We all know you sell maxxsonics products, but dont go in every thread saying this is way better when you have no facts...

As for his budget he can get something for 400 that is used, I know there are RD v1's that are around 400 and there are a few others with that output for that price range...

i didnt say they were not worth what they cost they are worth exactly what they cost and they do their power or close enough to it.

maxxsonics is a better bang for the buck imo i make no claims otherwise IMO ap sux and i know several competitors that agree they dont meter for shit i have no idea why.

but i have had 1st hand experience with 2 ap30001's and would never own anything ap makes based on that experience.

the ap would be fine but like u said he has limited electrical.

and fwiw even Chris from DBR on this very forum said the ap amps have some of the worst build quality he has seen and that the mbquart and hifonics amp have some of the best he has ever seen.

Okay but would you say that its better then a RDv1? for 100 more then both the MBQ and the AP would it still be the best option? I dont think so... I know RD has had issues with there v2 but I have not seen v1s with those problems...

Yes maxxsonics can be found to be the cheaper option but hes already running a hifonics 1606d and when i hooked my orion 2500d, there was a noticeable difference. But its still not enough to make it worth the extra money for just 400 more watts to get the MB Q.

Tell me your 3k watts @ 1 ohm with maxxsonic products, and I want proven 3k... and the RD's and a few others have been proven..

The AP 3500 and the RD are better choices imo for his setup, and not saying they are the best but those are some that have come up in this thread that I feel would outperform your 3k @ 1 ohm ~400

Oh and his electrical is for his current brutus 1606d... He already has big 3 and 0 gauge to the back..

He plans on getting 2 more batts min... Also in a 02 explorer with stock alt currently..

So this isnt about electrical... hes just shopping on amps...

the gp3000 is a proven amp that will do 5kw the v1 rd is def a great amp the v2 nope

go look at the bench tests for the ground pounder 3000 at term pro point in case hell look on this site even threads are all over about that amp its a fking beast it is a 5kw goliath board ffs

hmm 1600 rms vs 2500? of course you heard a difference lolz its 900 watts more power !

and the quart does 2200 at 12 volts and it is 1/2 ohm stable for close to if not more than 3kw

you can find a3000db's around $200 a piece.
