yeah my RF amp does get hot and will shut off if it's flat on my amp rack but i mounted a piece of wood under it and it seems to work a ton better now doesn't shut off as much. i'm actually going to try a blaupunkt 500watt amp that i have sitting in my closet that might work if it doesn't i'm prolly gonna stick with the rf and just run some fans in my amp rack.

from what i have read about them they are good price amps and haven't heard much bad. the only bad thing i heard was some guy tried running the amp lower than it said it would like to be ran and surprise surprise he fried that amp. i would have to say if i was looking into replacing my RF amp LP would be on the list i would look at depending on things. i know i told my buddy about em and he can get me a zapco for cost so i still might go that way. thanks for all the help though.

to be honest no i didn't. i already had my mind set though that i was really wanting a zapco if i could get one from my buddy b/c he can get em so cheap compared to other amps that are as good. thank you for the suggestions though. now i gotta find someone to buy an MA amp any buyers??

i said i'm looking for good stuff not horrible nasty sony that i would never touch dude. i am really leaning towards zapco or keeping my RF 600.4 so even comparing my RF to a Sony is an unfair comparison let alone zapco.
