300 RMS Subwoofer

I'm looking for a good 300 RMS subwoofer for $100-$150(Closer to $100 is preferred.) I value SQ over SPL and I would need one that is already in a box. I own a 2000 Chevrolet Malibu if that matters at all.

I'm not planning on buying the subs until about a month or so from now. Just want to do some research and get suggestions ahead of time.

If I am going to run this off of a amp that is 300rms bridged @ 4 ohms, I would need a Dual 2 ohm sub correct?

Those 12in dcons does look pretty nice. I have no tools are experience building boxes as easy as it may be, so I still need a box.

Would something like Custom Enclosures MDFS12 - 12" Sealed Subwoofer Enclosures - Sonic Electronix work? It's volume is 1.2 cubic ft just like ssa recommends for the sub.

And is there anywhere else I can check the price of that sub?

Those Boston Acoustics g310-4 ohm are dual coil 4 ohms, correct. My amp will be a bridge 300w rms @ 4 ohms. Will I be able to run these things at 4 ohms at all?

edit: nvm, it seems like the description was wrong for the Boston Acoustics G310-4, the guy listed the Boston Acoustics G310-44 specs.

You can port the Dcon and still have great clarity. Are you leaning sealed for space?

Size is main factor, but the simplicity of a sealed box and arguably better sq is what I prefer. I care much more about accuracy than how loud they can get, because either be will more than loud enough for me.
