so what do they have out there really trying to stay under 300 for a pair NIB (retail dosent matter only what i can get them for).

nothing is popping out reason being i would like to just use one speaker amp and run four pairs in my doors.

must have 3 way crossover to go along with it, going for more sq than anything.

For that inexpensive I think your going to have to look at CDT maybe? Or just build your own from PE. You could get your 6.5, 3"(or 4") and tweeter. Then possibly buy a seperate crossover and just run them

little bit more than i said but i might be able to make this work...thoughts?
actually seems like a pretty decent deal IMO. I'm not really a fan of JL comps for their price (except the C2's), but that price actually isnt too bad.

I still think you can get more for your money with raw drivers though. Get a decent midbass like the Peerless SLS that will extend low with authority, then a nice widebander, full range driver to carry the biggest part of the spectrum (this is where I'd spend the most money), then a nice tweeter to just aide on the top end nothing fancy since you wont be crossing it that low anyway. But, that also requires active capabilites or willingness to do a little passive xover research. Quasi-active FTW! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/suave.gif.858fc102f7646e678ee8af7e1fbc41d1.gif

if i do go active im going to get the pioneer dex-p99rs, but i will more than likely just run 8 6.5 and tweets then. im actually thinking im not going to go with the 3 way comps im going to do a total of 4 t2 comps per front door, and just those daytons that you reffed for my pillars, and center channels (off there own amp)...because the t1000-4 i have puts out close to 400wrms into 4 ohms per channel. then i will run a t4002 or 4 for the center and pillars.
