3 way component set up advice

hi! so i wanted some advice on speaker placement for a 3 way component system.

this is what i wanted to do let me know if you have a better idea.

first of the car i am fixing up is a toyota yaris lift back. although the car is very small the dashboard is quite deep. i would say 1.5 to 2 feet deep. so anyways this is the plan.

i will first install the 6.5 midbass in the stock speaker location. then i wanted to fabricate a fiberglass pillar to house the 4" midrange and tweeter. they would be both pointing inwards and upwards. pointing towards the ceiling like where a sunroof would be.

do you guys think this is a good location?

oh yah side question is it better to place foam or some kind of deadening behind the speaker if i do it this way? what is the best thing to put there for best sound?

I dont think you want the speakers facing upwards, If you do fiberglass A pillars, you want to fire the speakers across at each other. Im sure more experienced SQ guys can chime in but I think pointing them up will raise the stage too high.

tweeter should always be above midrange but keep it below ear level.

not trying to post dump but when running a component system?...how far is the crossover posed to be from the speaker and tweeter?

That doesnt really matter, I personally always put them by the amps, that way you dont have to pull everything back apart if you wanna go active. all your wiring will be where you need it.

That really al depend what you think sounds better, if you can wire the speakers up and temporarily suspend them on the a pillar, then you can mess with the angle and see what sounds best to you. In the end thats all that really matters.

thanks for the link but this shows that he placed all r components low and added an extra tweeter on top of a higher stage. what i am doing is the mids and tweeters are already on top
