3 sa 12s vs 1 ns 18?

Would be off either a sa 3k or 3.5 not sure which yet gunna be daily but what will be louder?

4 12's!!! I hate odd numbers. So weird to see 3 subs IMO. Buuuttttt....

3 - 12" = ~339 Surface area

1 - 18" = ~ 254 SA

Rough estimates.. Before anyone jumps on my case, it was just to put it in perspective.

3 x 12's would have more cone area than 1 x 18'', but 2 x 15'' would have more cone area than either of them.
