The box shouldn't "bounce around." While playing it should be as normal as when not playing. Maybe a better box is in order.

Neither. Better as in superior to your current box.

A good box shouldn't flex or bend at any point, so it shouldn't be able to move at all without some outside force.

 
I went from a sealed box in my blazer to subs up port back, to subs and port back (trying to gain a little cargo room). So far the subs and port back hit hardest in my blazer. But the last box i did was also the best one i have done so far and its 5 cubes after displacement tuned to 30Hz instead of 4 ft^3 @35Hz.

I have had one time so far where i needed and used the cargo room. And if i had the money to build a plexi table top thing i probably would still leave it at subs and port back for my current setup. My next one will be subs and port up probably (depending on what i go with)
