I've had the clarion dvs9755z (dvd player) for three months now and the clarion dxz545mp for a year and a half, don't want to do the whole seperate dvd player and seprate main source unit. I'm going to a all in one unit.
Both units work great the dvd player has front, rear, sub and center channel rca outputs for 5.1 surround. It's a great piece. it also comes with a long cord to connect the operating face. The dvd player itself looks stealth and can be placed anywhere. This dvd player plays vcd's, dvd's burned dvd's, mp3's pretty much the works it doent' play burned mp3 dvd discs though. great control of center and sub channels.
The dxz545mp is in great shape, the face looses illumination on rare occasions but i just pop the face plate off and stick it back on and it's good as new. This unit plays mp3's and is sirius ready. i'll through in a cenet cable for future expansion of disc changer or tv tuner which can be controlled through the head unit. The dang cord cost me 30 dollars alone. everything works great and it has front , sub and aux rca hook ups which are all 100% functional.
