3 DC sound lab level-3 15's vs 3 Kicker cvx 15's

The Dc sound people gave me a great deal and I was just about to

order 3 kicker cvx 15's this weekend. The Kickers are rated at 1000rms 2000peak

The Dc level-3 15's are rated at 600rms and 1200peak

Now I know the rating Looks like a big difference, But are the DC's

The DC's are definatly underated, It makes for subs that last longer =] But with the 2608D the power ratings of the subs are not going to determine what one is a better application. If it did though your going to get a 2.7 ohm load by useing 3 D4 ohm subs, and that equals about 1300 watts out of that amp or your going to get .67 and thats going to make for 1 un happy amp.

Option # 2 Your going to get D2 ohm subs. I dont know if this is a option with the kickers but its a upgrade for the DC's If you get the D2 option its a Flat wound coil, By going to D2 you get 2 final ohm load options of .33 (ANGRY AMP) or 1.33 (happy amp) and at 1.33 assuming the amp makes the power it says it does you will get 2300 watts from it instead of 2600 watts. and 2300 watts divided by 3 subs is 766.66 watts. Perfect for the LV3s

Hay I dont know if you had a chance to read my email yet but Im planning on ordering

2 of the lvl-3 15 this Friday I get off work at 3pm is your shop still goin to be open?
