3 Channel Amp?

There are some amps that are 1 ohm stable bridged, just not as many. Look for a memphis big belle. It is a 5 channel, but has a good sub output. You could also buy the dual 2 subs and have them wired to 2 ohms.
Theres a two ohm version of the sub and a four ohm version. Which would be better in my situation. And how do you wire the subs to 2 ohms?

if bass is the main objective than get a dedicated sub amp.
It is the main objective but I dont want too much power on my subwoofer or else I wont be able to hear my mids and tweeter at all

And if you dont want your bass too loud, you really dont need 2 subs. My single 12" will blur your vision while you are in the car.
Yea...that's true...it would save me money too...so i should get a 12-15" and throw it in a ported box and that will still be loud? What's like, one of the best 12-15" subs I can buy then if I'm just going to get one? This way I can just get a 4 channel amp and use it for the speakers and the amp.

Edit: Oh and thanks for the link

What kind of car do you have? How much space are you willing to give up and how much do you want to spend? if you are set on getting a single amp, I would find the amp first to see where you will get the most power and how much there will be, then pick the sub that way you can get the right voice coil configuration. If you dont mind buying used, there are lots of amps in the classified section

I have a mitsubishi eclipse 2003. I'm willing to give up all the space in the trunk. The whole system i'm trying to keep below 700 so i wanted to spend around 350 for the sub-woofer.

So say my sub was in channel A. I would turn the gain all the way to the left right? And heres another question. I put the speaker wire for all the other speakers in the back side, and I would connect the amp to my HU via the RCA output? It just confuses me because I would think the front speakers would have RCA outputs and the subwoofer would have RCA outputs, because I have a slot for subwoofer RCA on my HU I guess I would leave that empty? **** i'm confused lol

Your going to need a very low power woofer.. Your going to spend way less then $350. More like $100

well then screw it i guess i'll just figure out how to wire two amps, because i would like a high power woofer

There's no like, beginners guide to setting up two amps? Lol I look around and all i see is explanations i need to visually see diagrams in order to understand it.

^agreed. 3-channel and 5-channel amps usually have relatively low power output on the 5th channel (Audison LRx 5.1k is an exception)

if you want a high-power sub amp, get a dedicated Class D, you can get 1,000W @ 1 ohm very cheaply.

With a pair of dual 4 ohm subs, you can wire for 1 ohm or 4 ohm.

With a 4 channel amp, it will likely be 4 ohm stable when bridged, so you wire the subs for 4 ohm mono.

There are some high power 4 channel amps that can be bridged for a sub or two. Kicker and Rockford have some offerings. You won't get much more than 200W per sub, but that may be plenty for you.

Thank you keep hope alive, but now ppl are making me worry so I'm just going to install two separate amps. If you look at the first link you gave me I wanted to do what's on pg 36 on the bottom right corner but ppl are saying its gonna take power away from my subs and I don't want that. Also pg 14 on the alpine link but like I said ppl are saying the amp won't have enough power. I know this is crappy drawing but do I have the right idea? Where would be a good place to put that two way amp? In the back with the bass amp?

Oh and those manuals helped SO much

Again the only way im going to learn is if i ask more stupid questions. On this amp GM-D9500F - Class-FD 4-Channel Bridgeable Amplifier | Pioneer Electronics USAthere is 2 channels called channel A and 2 channels called channel B. Why cant I just use the two channels on channel A for the front speakers and 2 channels on channel B for the 2 subwoofers?
You can. You can also wire 2 of those subs to 4 ohm combination and bridge "channel B" to them. But that's only going to be 200 watts, which is WAY low for those subs. I don't know of a 3 or 4 channel amp that will do them justice... maybe someone else can suggest that.
