3 Ascendant Audio Arsenal 12's - Yay or Nay?

Okay, I have been pondering on what subs to use in my current sealed box. It holds 3 12's and is 1.25 cu ft per chamber.

I was going to go with 3 JL Audio 12W6v2's. However, they are kinda pricey and I feel that I can get the same, if not better, SQL overall.

A.A.'s site suggests that the sub is fed with 500 watts of power. I am going to have my Kicker KX1200.1 amp wired @ 0.67-ohm for starters. And, depending on the output, I may decide to go with a Kicker KX2500.1 amp @ 2.67-ohm.

Now, before I decide to buy these 3 Arsenal 12's, I am wanting to get some opinions on these subs and any other suggestions. I haven't heard these subs so I want to get some idea of how they would sound.

I am hoping to have this simple setup louder than my XXX 15 was. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I can tell u they are very efficient and can take more than 500, SQ is very very impressive, can get very loud if set properly!

I own one 15" arsenal...

in 2.9cu.ft @49hz, believe it or not, was very very accurate and went pretty low for that box, was powering it with around 400-500rms...(lanzar opti1400d with stock electrical system),

it was louder than one 12"w6(new ones) off 500rms with yellowtop

this thurday or friday, im gonna be building 3.8cu.ft @30hz with a new battery and deaden more my trunk, ill let u know how itll be..

dunno if that helped, but u cant go wrong with arsenal... id give it at least 750rms each, w6 are great subs no doudt, but too expensive IMO and arsenals look better, also not alot of people have them:up2somet:

^ Kicker KX1200.1 will play @ 0.67-ohm. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Well, I should be getting my subs Monday.

I'll take pics once I get them and hopefully I will have them installed later that day as well.

Well, I got my subs today!

I must say that they are much more impressive looking than the W3's....

Now once I played some music and test tone cd's, WOW! I am so amazed at the sound quality of these 12's. I believe that they are much better than the W3's.

Actually, I know that these 12's are louder than my XXX 15 in a snailshell. Then again, we are talking about more cone area.

Regardless, I am happy with the purchase of these subs. And, to be honest, I think I found a new company to stick with now.
