I plan on running 2 kenwood monoblocks drawing 60 amps apiece and 1 kenwood 4 channel drawing 40 amps. I've already done the Big 3 so do u guys think this will work off the one optima yellow top that i already have or do i need to buy a red top for a starter battery and use the yellow top on the amps?

If your alt is over 100 amps you might be able to get by off the optima and with the big three done.

I used to have 143 pulling off 105A alt with a regular interstate batt and big 3 and it stayed above 12v.

big three is a must though... cant stress that enough

The fuse rating is larger than the max current draw of the amp and the max draw of the amp is MUCH larger than the average draw of the amp. The average draw of the amp is what you really care about. You should be fine.

I'll have a total fuse rating of 280A or so in my upcoming install and have no intention of upgrading the alt. I will add a secondary battery though.

it will work. in explorer installs i'd run 2 bxi2006d's (rated at 2k@ 1ohm a piece) on a single yellowtop and stock alt and it worked fine for daily. i always use a lot of wire though. so make sure you dont cheap out on that.
