3 Alpine Type S 12's or 2 Type R 12's?

Yes its another one of those threads again. Might be helping a friend with an install with his ride. He might be taking me up on my JBL 1200.1.

Was thinking of either 3 Alpine Type S Dual 4 ohm version or 2 Alpine Type R 12's dual 2 ohm version.

So each Type S 12 would recieve 320 watts each which equals to 960 watts or

Each Type R would recieve 600 watts each which equals 1200

They are going in a sealed box that we are making. What do you all think? They will be the 2005 versions

I would go with the R's, I've heard 2 S 12's in a sealed box and one R 12 in a sealed box, the R owned the both of the S's.

Oh I know, I would get two RE SE's if the funds were available. I can get the 3 Type S's for $250 shipped and 2 R's for $240 shipped. All 2005 models
