For solo X? AFAIK they're like unicorns these days. That's why I never mess with woofers that use oddball size or proprietary parts.

You can buy a lot of sub for 350$ these days so I wouldn't pay that for the old Memphis

Yep. He knows he is going to buy DD subs in the end. Why even bother with this. Just find a old 9100 DD and call it a day.

80lb ain't a lot. And do a 4th order since the woofer meant for sealed. How much does a 3512 weigh? Prly like 40-50lbs

I know you don't like DD. but what makes that better?

Besides the cost that don't matter. I'll pay a bit more for local support, custom, made in the U.S.
