Hell I've only been on this forum for 2 monthes and I've seen some of the bulshit that goes on. People prying in other peoples busniess. If I wanted to pay full price I'd go to crutchfield. If someones offering a lot cheaper prices and they're authorized dealers which the place I'm getting my stuff from is this time. I'm paying a little more but I learned my lesson. I'm just glad I did my research on car audio for the last 3 months non stop to beable to put myself in a position to where I can get stuff below what most people pay with warranty. I'll have pics of my stuff and It will all be from an authorized hertz/arc dealer. My bro's in iraq and I've also been builing a system for him and my dad for christmas. And I'm more than happy not to have to pay retail.

I could care less that you are "threatening" me? I did NOTHING to you. I simply aided a company in enforcing a contract with an authorized dealer. Just relax man. I apologize if I made it "about you." It isn't. But you have to understand what went down was completely fair.

You were very involved in a very shady dealing. That means i is up to you to make sure you clear your name. I don't have to assume you aren't involved. I would suggest being more clear of the fact you are building 3 different systems.

If you consider what happen over there people "prying" in other peoples business. Then you need to read the thread again.

You also need to read the links, so you understand that you are supporting dealers that hurt the industry. This isn't about "going toe to toe" this is business, it's not complicated.

Alright sorry about that. Honetly I didn't even know what I was getting involved in was shady. And the shop I'm getting my stuff from now is legit, they're out of los angeles and they're helping me out because I'm doing 3 different systems with them. Datboiroy was my favorite cause he was laid back and just had a whenever your ready.attitude. I got my dad an mb quart qsd 213 component set, a pioneer deh700bt hu, and kicker 4 channel. My brother a pioneer hu, image dynamics component set for his truck and I'll probably get him a kicker amp as well. And myself I'm doing the eclipse/ arc/hertz setup and I'm getting a 2007 honda pilot before long to put it in. Sorry shaneb I took things the wrong way, I just think roys a good guy and he was there to help out someone like me who can't afford to pay retail price for everything.

That's why my sig has been saying rebuilding for 3 months for not even a BIG DEAL system. It's a entry level build lol but it is taken me forever to work it into the budget.

You do realize that ANY shop shipping those products is Not legit right? Dealers are prohibited from shipping regardless of what they tell you or how nice they are. When in doubt, call the manufacturer and confirm.

Alright gang I've got a $3000 budget for a hu, component speakers,2 amps,and 2 subs. I want the ultimate in sq and a little spl to go with it. Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks.

That can be done........... I'd love to have a budget like that. Does electrical upgrades factor into that budget as well?

Honestly 6spdcoupe I had no clue what I was getting into. All I wanted was quality product at a reasonable price, but I've found out that it's not just cut and dry. It's a dog eat dog world. Honestly I know now I was in the wrong and I apologize to all parties involved but I've got to move past it. I'll probably end up settling for woofersetc.com. I also ask u for advice because you've been in the game for along time and have a good reputation. However I have heard that u do the same things that others have done. Heresay or whatever it may be I just wanna clear this whole thing up. And turd I'm not an attention ***** I just like helping people plan their systems and get the most out of their dollar.thanks 6spdcoupe and turd ferguson for helping me realize boundaries and realize my mistakes. here's an idea; find a local authorized dealer and go ask them what their quality product costs. If you've got 3 grand you've got enough money to buy my entire ****ing stereo brand new and with money left over.

Power line cs: ~1,000$

CVR in enclosure - 120$? Would it even be that much? No.

Punch 100IX - 80$. **** it, buy yourself a nice 1000w amp and spent 250$ on it.

Deadening - 200$

Arc Audio 4150 - 600$

OK, now we're at ****ing 1000+120+250+200+600=2770. You could spend another 3-400 on your subwoofer amp setup and still be under 3000$. You could buy cheaper components and have even more $$ left over.

I couldn't afford my stereo brand new, so i hunted and bought shit used out of other people's cars so i could get what I have now. What the hell are you splitting hairs over a few bucks for? Stop trying to pull a fast one and screw the legitimate dealers out of their $$ to save a few dollars when you have 3 grand to ****ing spend. That shit is pathetic. If you were broke and had 200$ to spend on your whole system it'd be one thing, but you're more than happy to parade about indicating you have plenty of funds. Just go ****ing buy the shit.
